Gas House was built on a simple belief: most people don't need another room full of equipment. They need a coach who knows their name and a plan that actually goes somewhere.
Donnie started coaching athletes in Spokane back in 2013, adults, youth, and pros, and opened Gas House in January 2020. It didn't take long to realize the gym wasn't just about building better athletes. It was about building better humans: happier, healthier, and more connected to each other. That's still the mission today. We train regular people like athletes and we build young athletes for their sport, all under one roof, all held to the same standard.
Here's why. For an athlete, being hurt makes everything harder, and being at their best makes everything possible. The same is true for you. You don't have to be an athlete to train here, we just coach you like one. Everything we do is built to minimize your risk and maximize your reward, so you keep working toward your best self and life outside these walls gets easier.
It's the line that runs through everything we do. We hold a high bar because we believe in what you're capable of, and we stay in your corner the whole way there. Push and care, at the same time. That's coaching.
Not just the workout. We meet you where you're at and build from there.
Deliberate programming that progresses you, adult or athlete. Never random.
Not summers. We're building something that lasts, for you and for us.
Coaching Spokane athletes since 2013, adults, youth, and pros, Donnie opened Gas House in 2020 to do more than build athletes: to build better humans. It's the standard the whole gym runs on.
A former college basketball player with a Kinesiology degree from Whitworth, Xavier has led athlete development at Gas House for 3+ years. His passion: teaching young athletes to become better competitors and better humans.
A Central Washington volleyball player who coaches the sport from youth to college level, Kaely blends a background in advertising and pediatric therapy case management to keep the training sharp and the gym running. She's had a front-row seat to Gas House since day one.
A NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist with 12+ years under the bar and 5+ coaching. Bradley coaches the Spokane Jr. Chiefs and is Head Track & Field Coach at Highland Middle School. A collegiate sprinter who broke his high school's 400m record, he builds resilient, well-rounded athletes through movement, speed, and long-term development.
A board-certified, licensed athletic trainer and NASM strength coach, Madi is a Spokane Valley native (Central Valley HS, UNLV). She's trained everyone from pro hockey and rodeo athletes to first responders and distance runners. Her whole game: injury prevention and best practices that keep you healthy for a lifetime.
Ask any member why they stay and they'll tell you the same thing: the Gang. You'll train hard, and you won't do it alone.
"I used to not be able to tie my shoes without discomfort. Now I deadlift with confidence."
"I don't feel the need to work out on vacation anymore because my habits and foundation are solid. I train way less than I used to and my results are so much better."
